About

Linda Hamm

Linda Hamm is a certified CHA riding instructor and has been involved with horses for over 30 years.  Her lifelong love of horses has become her purpose.  Horses have the ability to empower people; Linda has witnessed this first-hand.

Linda purchased her first horse at the age of 13 and has never looked back. Her youth was spent riding in the mountains, playing in fields and observing large herds of horses.  Linda learned how to ride and care for 30+ horses at a riding stable in Kendall, WA.

Linda continued to educate herself and find better ways to improve her horsemanship and in 2005 she was introduced to ‘Natural Horsemanship’.  She studied and practiced her skills on many different horses and found these methods to be very successful. In 2006 she worked at Zajac Ranch for Children where her responsibilities included developing and implementing riding programs flexible enough to meet the needs of diversified ranch guests.  Women’s’ retreats, school groups and church groups were just some of the programs Linda was involved in.  She also earned her CANTRA certification in Therapeutic riding in 2008.

Linda started her own horsemanship business in 2013, teaching people how to better understand horses along with communication skills and leadership.  In 2014 she achieved her instructor certification in Western and English with Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) at the Canyonview Equestrian College in Oregon. Linda has attended many clinics and workshops over the years to further her education and she has successfully helped many people to solve problems they have experienced with their horses

A lifelong learner of horsemanship, Linda takes great pride in safety, professional standards and continues to strive to learn from the many talented horsemen and horsewomen in the field.  Linda states her best teachers have been the the amazing horses she has had the privilege to work with.
